The many advantages of timber flooring

When it comes to choosing a flooring for your home or business, a timber floor is often seen as the best choice for many reasons.

Timber floors add instant warmth and natural beauty to any environment. A timber floor turns a house into a home. In the workplace, they add a touch of class to the interior décor as well as create an atmosphere that is both warm and inviting.

Timber is natural and eco-friendly. Timber floors in homes and businesses promote sustainable living and protect our environment. A high-quality timber floor can last up to 100 years and at the end-of-life can be recycled.

Timber floors promote healthy living. Unlike other floor coverings, timber does not stain easily, will not retain odours or harbour dust mites and allergens. Maintaining a timber floor is as easy as using an antistatic mop to remove dust and grit once a week and a damp mop with mist water or a gentle cleanser once a month.
